PredictHQ is at a pivotal moment in its growth. We’ve built strong traction and proven value with global customers - now we’re scaling toward repeatable, predictable enterprise revenue. This next phase requires more than just momentum; it demands discipline, structure, and consistent execution.

We’re looking for a Sales Director who can turn strategy into results. You’ll be responsible for translating revenue strategy into predictable execution: improving pipeline quality, coaching teams through complex buying journeys, and increasing confidence in forecast accuracy.

Backed by leading investors including Lightspeed, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Aspect Ventures, we operate globally with teams in Auckland, San Francisco and New York - and we’re just getting started.

🎯 The Role

You’ll lead a team of:

  • Account Executives

  • SDRs

  • Account Manager

Your mission is simple (but not easy): Increase conversion. Improve execution. Win enterprise customers.

This is a complex, technical sales environment, involving:

  • Executive stakeholders

  • Technical buyers

  • Procurement

  • Cross-functional teams

You’ll partner closely with:

  • Marketing (pipeline generation)

  • Solutions Engineering (technical depth)

  • CRO (strategy)

🏆 What you’ll accomplish (first 6 months)

1. Improve pipeline conversion & deal quality

  • Turn more pipeline into qualified opportunities and revenue

  • Reduce stalled deals and improve momentum across the sales cycle

  • Strengthen multi-threading and stakeholder alignment

  • Build stronger business cases earlier in the deal

2. Elevate team performance

  • Improve discovery, qualification, and deal strategy across the team

  • Increase enterprise win rates through stronger execution

  • Implement structured coaching plans with clear expectations

  • Build a culture of accountability and ownership

3. Create predictable forecasting

  • Establish a strong weekly cadence for pipeline and deal reviews

  • Improve forecast accuracy and visibility into deal health

  • Surface risks early to avoid end-of-quarter surprises

4. Build a disciplined sales engine

  • Standardise qualification and stage progression across the sales process

  • Improve CRM hygiene and process consistency

  • Introduce clear deal reviews and close plans

5. Strengthen GTM collaboration

  • Align Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering around shared execution

  • Improve conversion on complex, technical deals

  • Create tight feedback loops across go-to-market teams

🌟 What great looks like

  • You’re more than a sales leader - you’re a builder

  • You bring structure without slowing things down

  • You love coaching experienced sellers to win bigger

  • You’re rigorous with pipeline, forecasting, and execution

  • You create urgency, accountability, and trust

  • You operate confidently across time zones and markets

🧩 Ideal background

  • Led enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales teams

  • Improved conversion, win rates, and forecast accuracy

  • Strong coaching across the full sales cycle, from discovery to negotiation

  • Worked closely with marketing + pre-sales/solutions teams

  • Thrives in high-performance, scaling environments

  • Comfortable with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

✅ General

  • Applicants for this position must have US residency or a valid US work visa

  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable legislation, rules and standards, including relevant Acts, Advertising Standards Authority rules and regulations, and industry body requirements
